I found a few used ones not too long ago on ebay averaging between 40 and 60 dollars. These cards were big with cameras years ago, and have become harder to find because next to no one makes them anymore, which has increase its price dramatically. The largest support for this card is 128MB. The only card supported in the GNX3 is a smart media card…not to be confused with a compact flash, sd, or xd.

Also, you can go to the Digitech site and download user defined patches for your own use, which the computer will tell the GNX 3 how to adjust its setting The MIDI allows the GNX 3 to be hooked to your computer where the downloadable software, which comes with it, allows you to make, choose, alter, and save all of your presets in a more hands on approach. On the back the XLR input allows the GNX 3 hook up a microphone to utilize the onboard effects to process your vocals for those brave enough to sing. And the best part is the entire pedal is completely controllable with the foot pedals once your basic settings have been made. It took me a few times to figure out how to use the 8 track player, but even that is a simple task. But once you learn how to use the GUI, its very user friendly. The world of analog, four tracks, nine stomp boxes and a crate of nine volt batteries, at first the GNX 3 can be intimidating. Lets test this thing out.įirst I must say, that if you have never gotten out of. Some previous brand pedals had the power supply as an optional feature for an extra 30 bucks. I talked to the clerk and bought this pedal for 300 dollars and it came with the power supply, which I was happy about that. It had MIDI jacks in the back and an XLR input….I didnt know at the time what it was for but it had to be good. I continued to look and eventually tried all the pedals out, but was set on the GNX3 almost immediately due to the fact it had an on-board 8 track recorder full of its own features, coupled with fully programable effects and amp simulators. Where all the fancy pedals are with lots of buttons and lights that make us go “Ooooo!” When I walked in the door, there was the regular individual pedals all ranging from the usual 70 on up to the 200 dollar

So I went to my local music shop to see what was new and exciting in the world of guitar effects. I didnt want to spend a ton of money, but I wanted the best bang that my money could buy. My ferret was filing petitons with the zoning board about occupancy limits as it was. I was looking for a cost effective way of being able to lay down guitar tracks and have good sound effects with quick response time between banks without having to take up anymore room than necessary. All my instruments, hunting and fishing gear, you name it, it was in that room.

why haven't you used/ or tweaked the PRO yet? I remember you bragging about it in the WV forum. All reviews Support A while back I was sitting in my room, and at the time I was married, so I literally mean “my room.” I had this 10 x 10 spare bedroom full of all my tastes and hobbies. If you want a looper, get the GT-10 when it comes out.

(which pedal is on violin?) It takes a good amount of tweaking and deleting every preset factory patch

IF you want user friendly and out of the box instant magic, Boss is probably not your choice. I put the Digitechs below the Pod in terms of sound potential. I dont' like the Pods as much, though I occasionally hear a good tone out of the XT. I do use the GT-8, with some custom built anti fizz/ tubifying tweaks of corse. Given the fizz issue that ALL moddlers produce in high gain situation, and that NOT being a tone set you want on violin as bow noise adds to teh nastiness, I say the Boss is probably your best bet, as it is the least fizzy, and has a cool mode called tone modify which knocks my socks off!. it originally looked naff, but now looks real promising. I have done a lot of listening to the gt-10 samples posted across the world, and talking to people who played it at namm.
